Quality Control Technician - £20,000 - Free Parking - 28 days holidays including bank holidays, free popcorn!!
Working for a business established above 25 years ago, who are specialises in their market you will play a crucial role as a Quality Control Technician. Working for this global supplier you will be servicing industries such as pharmaceutical, food manufacturers and pet food suppliers. This is one of the few local employers that have grown over 2020 and have more growth plans in the pipeline for 2021!
As the Quality Control Technician your responsibilities will include:
Demonstrate safe working practices and ensure procedures are always followed .
Represent quality with safety and hygiene teams.
First review to start production, in-process confirmation and approval of raw materials.
Quarantine of materials & final inspection - re-testing and release back to production.
Completion of reject reports and the control of defective material (Quarantine and SCARs).
Auditing supplier certificates of analysis and basic goods inwards control & testing.
As the Quality Control Technician there will be opportunity for you to grow within the business!
The ideal candidate will ideally have some experience within a Quality Control Technician and will have ideally worked within the packaging industry before.
Educated to BSc. Hons in a scientific discipline, potentially a graduate wanting to learn new skills
Educated to 'A' Level in a scientific discipline as a minimum
Knowledge or experience in auditing practices such as BRCGS
Excellent attention to documentation detail
