As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, reporting to the Sr. Manager Business Applications, you will play a key role working closely with the Service organization in designing, building, and supporting the ServiceMax Field service application and be the subject matter expert for the Field Service domain.
The BSA will have great communication skills, strong business acumen, critical thinking, and analytical skillset to develop creative technology and systems solutions to meet critical business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner closely with Field Service business in understanding the current As is' environment, processes, challenges/gaps and requirements globally.
Work with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize/deliver requirements through backlog grooming and release planning.
Collaborate with the business and technical teams to translate Field service business requirements accurately into high-quality Functional design specifications that can be delivered by the technical team
Understand the mission and vision of the Service organization and provide systemic support to achieve goals either by leveraging existing unused ServiceMax functionality or by enhancing the system capabilities
Maintain awareness of the rapidly changing technology and act as the transforming agent in identifying system/process improvement opportunities for the Service function
Project manage minor initiatives which also includes scoping and developing estimates for the project.
Conduct solution testing and assist with user acceptance testing for implementation and enhancements
Work with users and management team to develop dashboards and reports to help Field Service team run their business
Provide support in enhancing/building new integrations with ServiceMax system to other applications in the ecosystem like Workday, ERP, Marketing etc.
Bachelor's Degree in Technology or Management information systems equivalent field with a minimum of 7 years' experience designing and supporting technical solutions on Force.com platform preferably with Field Service Cloud.
A deep understanding of global Field Service business and overall software development processes
Demonstrated experience in maintaining and driving system enhancement efforts to completion on Force.com platform
Extensive hands-on administration and ability to configure standard workflows and custom objects, rules, profiles, record types, etc on Force.com platform
Excellent business systems analysis, communication, and influential skills with basic project management skills
Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to self-train quickly and desire to learn and adapt to new technologies/skills.
Working knowledge and experience with ServiceMax Field Service application is a huge plus.
Experience upgrading/working on Salesforce Lightening and Field Service Mobile application.
Experience with APEX/Visualforce a big plus
Experience working with Analytical tools like PowerBI and Integration tools is desirable
