You have an engaging personality, have a good understanding of science and technology - STEM, and especially physics.
You are able to sniff out sales opportunities within academic institutions and research departments, through good listening and networking skills.
You are graduate level engineer with a year or two of work experience (ideally in B to B sales).
You can open doors, and build relationships that will allow our client's technical experts to demonstrate the benefits of their Physics software product line.
You are technical enough to engage in converations to uncover potential customer needs.
You are aware of the right time to bring in the Applications Engineering team to provide technical proof of our client's SW tools, to help you close sales.
The role will include but not be limited to:
Actively identify, develop and expand the sales of existing and new range of software to academic institutes and research labs within the UK & Ireland
Develop new leads and maintain regular contact with existing customers through phone calls, onsite presentations, and public workshops
Create and deliver presentations with the support of the technical team at public seminars, customer-sites and professional conferences
Work closely with technical team at both pre and post sales stages to provide technical support to potential customers
To ensure that all opportunity profiles are always up to date in the CRM system to capture and progress all opportunities, and to provide accurate sales forecasts
To organize and facilitate onsite meetings and public workshops as requiredThis is an urgent hire, so an immediate application is recommended.
