Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join an award-winning business in the Leeds area. Working with some brand giants and global corporations you will be joining a well-established business who are constantly evolving to meet the needs of their clients and stay ahead of trends and changing technologies.
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing relationships with prospects and clients to drive new sales opportunities and build an extensive and sustainable pipeline.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
* Working alongside the Marketing department to maximise on sales opportunities
* Increasing client base
* Writing business proposals and planning and preparing presentations
* Creating, negotiating and closing commercial agreements
* Developing and implementing growth strategies and plans
* Managing and retaining relationships with prospects and existing clients
* Sales and pipeline reporting
Skills and experience required:
* Experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive or a relevant role
* Proven ability to win, retain and build new business, with a proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads
* B2B Experience is essential, from a service industry is preferred
* Strategic analysis, targeting and maintaining strong relationships
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential as the role is heavily focused on driving new business forward, pushing the business out into new industries and territories
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to hold high level conversations to persuade client thinking
* Prospecting skills
* Closing skills
* Time management and sales planning skills
* Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
* You will be required to develop in-depth market knowledge of the industry

Benefits:
* 2-3 days working in the office - flexible
* Competitive basic salary - £30,000- 40,000pa, OTE circa £70,000 – year on year growth
