BOOKKEEPER (PART-TIME 20-25 HOURS PER WEEK)
UP TO £25,000 PA (PRO RATA) PLUS BENEFITS
Are you looking for a new bookkeeping role? This role would give you a good work life balance, by being able to work between 3 to 5 days a week. This new and varied bookkeeping position requires extensive bookkeeping and accounting expertise, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a small accounts team.
Your duties as Bookkeeper will include:
Balance sheet reconciliations
Bank account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
Monitoring and resolving account enquiries.
Assisting with payroll
Posting and reconciling purchase orders onto Sage
Setting up direct debit collections
The ideal Bookkeeper should have:
Sage Accounts 50 is essential
Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel and Word
Extensive bookkeeping knowledge
Ideally experience within a financial services company e.g. insurance
Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) would be ideal or qualified by experience
Clear and confident communication skills
Self-motivated, using own initiative, with excellent attention to detail
Reliable and responsible with a flexible helpful approach to work
Excellent organisation and time keeping skills working to deadlines
