For our client, Swiss bank, we are looking for a Business Analyst/PM for a 6 months project in Zurich.
Overview of business area or project:
Lombard F2B covers a number of interrelated requirements around the Lombard Business for all divisions globally.
- Enable Lombard lending growth across divisions in a risk-controlled manner with global solutions and processe
- Establish global harmonized Lombard F2B target operating model resulting in reduced time to market and more client facing time
- Increase of risk resilience and loss prevention and close External Audit findings by building up new and consolidated reporting and monitoring capabilities
- Improve F2B processing through automation
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead respective delivery ensuring that all business requirements are captured, reviewed and signed off.
- Detailed analysis of impacts of Exposure Modelling change across APAC, IWM & SUB (Banking Book; collateralized clients)
- Identify and raise risks and issues which will impact project timelines and delivey
- Drive exchange with SMEs and coordinate project delivery to ensure that the needs of business stakeholders are addressed
- Define requirements for business readiness: updated process & procedures, governance and training
- Work closely with IT, Credit Risk Officers and Quants as well as Front Office stakeholders to define process changes resulting from Exposure Modelling change
- Performing business testing and user acceptance testing activity
Challenges Contractor will be facing in this role
- Project is not regulatory driven but revenue driven; means that there is significantly more leeway for discussion on requirements & solution amongst Stakeholders
- Stakeholder management; Wide range of stakeholders providing requirements (GTS LFG, CRM (APAC, IWM, SUB), QAT) & providing solutions (GTS Platform, RFIT)
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in business administration, finance and/or quantitative finance
- Strong business analysis skills and previous experience documenting business requirements
- Previous Credit Risk experience in Private Banking environment
- Good knowledge of derivatives exposure calculation
- Proactive attitude with ability to quickly understand business needs and required next steps to obtain answers to outstanding questions
- Ability to work autonomousl
- Ability to build effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and to create a team environment
- Experienced user of MS Office toolset, especially Powerpoint and Exce
- Excellent spoken and written English
