Python/React.js Software Engineer - Chicago ($155K)

We are looking for a strong Software Engineer for a full time permanent position downtown. The role is currently remote based due to COVID, though we anticipate it will potentially be back onsite a few days per week later this year.

In this position you will design and develop web based Internet and Intranet applications, as well as build interfaces using REST/SOAP API, and develop new user interfaces and database models for applications in an AWS environment. You will also do testing on applications and prepare system manuals. This is a full life cycle environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of Software Engineering or Development

Python Development and experience in an AWS services environment

Front End UI design using React.js framework

Application development using SQL/NoSQL databases

Object-Oriented Design (OOD)

jQuery/HTML5/CSS development is desired.

REST API/JSON design patterns

Deployment tools - ant, Junit, Jenkins

Any experience with Docker, or Apache is a big PLUS
