HR Business Partner - Remote and Brussels, Belgium - French speaking

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for an HR Business Partner.

For this role you can initially work remotely but once the COVID restrictions have been lifted you will then need to be based full time onsite in Brussels.

Please find some details below:

Reporting to the VP HR Medical Regulatory and QA (R&D), you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of HR activities for client areas including Future Ready transformation activities. You will work with leaders and HR colleagues across multiple geographies and will provide advice and hands on support to execute the business' people plan.


Coach and develop line managers in the delivery of key HR activities, build their leadership and people management capability

Respond to complex, escalated queries around HR policies, processes and ways of working

Partner with senior leaders/leadership teams on business/people related topics; agree and deliver expected outcomes

Successfully manage progress and track key HR Operations department milestones, deliverable and metrics.

Diagnose and/or deliver change projects in line with the HR and business agenda

Deliver succession planning and Talent Management activities

Drive standardisation and continuous improvement of HR activities to increase the effectiveness and enhance the employee experience

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the business and use HR systems and other internal and external insights


A University/College Diploma or Degree (Human Resources, Business) or equivalent knowledge gained on the job'

Experience of leading and coaching others to deliver complex global and regional transformational changes, build capability and reduce complexity and cost

Ability to work in a highly complex and Matrix landscape, involving diverse cultures and different geographies

Skilled in process excellence and passion for continuous improvement

Ability to leverage people analytics capabilities to draw insights from data and recommend actions

Strong decision making based upon sound flexible thinking and calculated risk

Able to take responsibility to deliver against demanding projects or initiatives to meet criteria of time, cost, quality and performance

Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills

Experience of coaching others to deliver complex cultural change agendas

Strong project management skills
