Business Development Executive

Growing Tier-2 ERP provider requires a Business Development Executive to help join their small Sales team, whose key responsibility will be to develop new business relationships. Will be required to create own leads through marketing, cold calling and sales visits to customers across Manufacturing, Distribution, Pharma, Food & Beverage or Wholesale sectors, throughout the UK. Must have a customer-first attitude and an ethical approach to business development.
You will join a motivated team who share and revel in company successes, so must be a team player, who is also able to stand on their own and meet and exceed sales targets. The average sales lifecycle is 4 - 12 months and average order values between £200,000 and £400,000 – must have experience within similar environment.
Ideally from an ERP sales background, my client will also look at Business Development Executives who have sold complex software solutions and professional services in areas such as Data Analytics, Financial or Supply Chain Software.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience selling complex software solutions - ideally ERP, but will look at Data Analytics, Financial or Supply Chain Software
* Experience of the full sales lifecycle (360 degrees)
* Track-record selling into Manufacturing, Distribution, Pharma, Food & Beverage or Wholesale sectors
* Stable work history – no job hoppers!
* A1 communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to create lasting business relationships
Please note that you will be required to attend HQ 1-2 days per week (once Covid situation allows) in the Fleet area.
