Technical Account Manager
£50,000 + Car allowance
Liverpool based with some national travel.
We are currently recruiting for a Technical Account Manager to manager a small portfolio of buildings dedicated to one prestigious client. The largest building is a distribution centre in Liverpool with other buildings comprising of offices and media buildings, this contract is interesting and lively and a great opportunity for an experienced hard services manager who was worked with a similar portfolio.
Managing a team of engineers, a helpdesk, and a P+L of £1.5m you will be responsible for all hard services across the contract (ppm, reactive maintenance, and small works projects). Client liaison and satisfaction are of upmost importance so you will be based on the client site in Liverpool most of the time with travel to the London site once a week (accommodation provided should you wish to stay over).
As this is a new contract a team will be TUPEing over so experience with TUPE and managing a transitional team would be advantageous.
Duties of the role include:
Responsibility for the management of a team of engineers, a helpdesk team and subcontractors.
Staff engagement, training, and succession planning.
Responsible for the success of the planned maintenance programme, ensuring the team hit KPI's and service levels are met.
Managing budgets and P+L of £1.5million which covers all planned maintenance and small works projects. Responsible for the financial success of the contract.
Working with the customer closely to ensure satisfaction.
Building strong relationships with the new client.
Always striving for more cost effective and efficient ways of working and seeking to improve on service levels.
Working with the QSHE Manager to ensure all health and safety and compliance is met across the contract.
The company is an expanding business and so there is a lot of scope for promotion in this role for an ambitious individual. After 9 months and bedding in the contract there may be scope to add additional contracts into the Account Manager's portfolio for those looking to build their profile within the company and climb the career ladder.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Come from a hard services background themselves of have extensive experience directly managing engineers.
IOSH or NEBOSH (desirable).
Experience on a hard services contract delivering a maintenance contract with P+L responsibility.
Good financial acumen.
Strong customer services skills.
TUPE experience is desirable
