Agile Business Analyst

Agile Business Analyst - Remote/Runcorn (M56) based - £38K/£45K

We are recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated Business Analyst to join the internal Agile BA solutions team of a medium sized systems integrator.

This is currently a remote based role but the team will be returning to their office long term in some capacity. There may be very occasional travel to client sites but not on a regular basis.

To apply we require you to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Strong Business Analyst core principles/skills
• At least 2 years' experience working in Agile environments (eg Scrum, Kanban)
• Proven knowledge of Agile and Scrum, Lean or Kanban principles, with the ability to mentor others
• Experience using Jira & Confluence
• Excellent communication skills & a collaborative approach to build relationships with internal teams and customers
• Track record of working with cross functional teams with delivery managers, software developers, solution architects, QA testers and UX/UI designers
• Solid background in BA requirement capture techniques
• A strong understanding of the full software development life cycle
• Great organisation and prioritisation skills
• Demonstrable attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent initiative, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills, as well as teamworking and the ability to accept and follow direction
• The ability to work to tight deadlines

Desirable Skills:

• Prince2 (Foundation)
• BCS qualified
• Experience working with local developers
• A grasp of project management principles, and experience of managing software development projects

Due to current pandemic restrictions this role will be remote based, however candidates should be prepared to be on site in Runcorn, Cheshire long term.
