Business Analyst (AGILE/SCRUM) - Switzerland based (EU Nationals)

Languages: ENGLISH only.

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in performing the role of Business Analyst in IT software application development projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in using tools to document processes and workflows, such as Use Case Diagrams, Data and Process Flow Diagrams etc.
  • Knowledge in measuring and tracking delivery of systems as fit for purpose and in accordance with agreed requirements (KPIs, quality measurements and control points).
  • Experience and knowledge of MS Office, Vision, good understanding in Datamodelling tools, databases and Case Tools, JIRA.
  • Formal training and experience using the proven frameworks such as SCRUM/Agile software development is desirable.

Description of Work:

  • Analyse and document business processes in relation to the registration and fee-paying systems and other outward facing applications in consultation with system users and internal experts.
  • Identify and propose business process related improvements and optimisations taking into account the shift from isolated application development and operations to a more converged customer experience and integrated platform for the portfolio of applications relevant to the Portal.
  • Develop and document clear and unambiguous business requirements, functional specifications, use case diagrams, data and process flow diagrams etc.
  • Take on active role within project delivery teams that build the components of the Portal based on an iterative/agile approach towards software development.
  • Work in close collaboration with business users and system developers to ensure that user requirements are well understood, defined, communicated and implemented within the final product.
  • Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing during interactive development cycles to ensure that products meet functional specifications and customer quality expectations.
  • Assist the project team to define and implement suitable tools and techniques to ensure rapid delivery of the required software components.
