Computer Systems - Windows Systems Supervisor

Salary: $65k to $75k

Location: Downers Grove, IL

.*No Remote*

This is a 50 person lab. There are 3 to 4 Servers Windows. There are 2 people in the group. You will manager the 2 people in the group. One person over Lotus Notes Admin and the other Windows admin. I need a hands on supervisor type in Windows technology to oversee 2 other people. You will be technically hands on in Windows, AD, WAN/LAN, Security and storage. 3 to 5 years Windows administration. Small environment they have Lotus Notes not Exchange. Up and comer role

Provides hands on oversight and implementation of decisions related to computer systems hardware and software across the organization. Provides user support and training. Ensures computer systems documentation and policies are accurate and compliant, coordinating with QA. Develops and maintains internal proprietary software systems.

Develops and maintains company-wide computer systems policies for software, hardware, Windows domain, and network organization

Ongoing software development and maintenance for business-critical Lotus Notes and Workflow system

Participation in the design and execution of documentation, qualifications, and validations of quality-controlled computer systems and software
Lab instrument software configuration and integration as it relates to internal Windows domain
Active Directory design and maintenance for user access control, to controlled network-accessible files and folders across Windows domain
Design and development of qualified Excel spreadsheets
Monitoring of commercial offsite file backup system
Network printer installation and maintenance
User hardware and software support
Maintains close collaboration with the Quality Assurance staff to document, qualify and validate critical business systems
Supervises and directs contractors related to IT operations
Supervises and directs Computer Systems Support associates
Develop and perform user training for relevant software systems

Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong planning, leadership organization, and control skills
Strong Windows systems knowledge (Win10, Windows Server 2016)
IBM Lotus Notes Application (R10) experience, highly desirable
Network protocols highly desirable - Active Directory/WAN/LAN/security
Network storage/SAN highly desirable
3-5 years job experience highly desirable
BS computer science or equivalent experience
