Senior Test Engineer

Monarch are working with a global leading organisation that are recruiting a Senior Test Engineer to assist them on an initial 12-24 month contract.

This position is perfect for an experienced Test Engineer, who likes to be part of a team that works in parallel with development teams, enjoys working in fast paced environments and is eager to learn skills.

Some of the responsibilities in this position include:

• Develop frameworks and configurations


• Create automated test suites with code, Front End GUI automation and API testing


• Work with development teams to build automated testing


• Define and implement simple automation efforts, and document automated testing solutions

The key skills required:

• Java (Automation frameworks written in Java)


• Jenkins and Continuous integration.


• Good understanding of testing best practices.


• BDD


• API understanding


• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix, Spring, Eclipse IDE, Rest Assured, Jbehave/Cucumber frameworks, Databases, Web services.
