Applications Support Analyst - Equities, Fixed Income, Market Exchanges, MMI, Anvil, SQL


An Applications Support Analyst is required for a well known international banking group who are setting up a brand new office in Dublin to complement and work closely with the Electronic Trading Applications Support team in the City of London.


You will come with experience supporting Equities or Fixed Income trades, or potentially other electronic trading platforms. You will be key in providing technical support to projects, communicating with trading exchanges and ION trading's Anvil and MMI components.


This position is absolutely ideal for a candidate with roots in Dublin Ireland or someone looking to move to the EU yet work as part of a London team.


Responsibilities:



  • Technical Support for Applications within Equities and Fixed Income Trades

  • Acting as the Dublin team member responsible for European electronic trades based in Dublin

  • Monitoring and Maintaining ION Trading's MMI and Anvil components for trading platforms.

  • Communicating with both front and Back Office teams and external brokerage platforms such as Bloomberg, MTS, EUREX, ICE, CME, BGC


Skills:



  • Experience as Application Support for Electronic Trading platforms, ideally within Equities and Fixed-Income

  • Understanding of ION Trading's Anvil and MMI components

  • Experience working with market exchanges and electronic brokerage platforms - MTS, Bloomberg, Eurex etc.

  • Basic Scripting knowledge in Perl, Python, Bash or any other Scripting languages

  • Ideally Linux platform experience
