Premier Medical Associates Director of Business Development Job Title: Director of Business Development Overtime Status: X Exempt Non-exempt Job Summary: The Director of Business Development, will fill a role to help lead business development activities for both Premier Medical Associates (PMA) and its affiliates in our overall growth initiatives and our continued commitment to value based care. Reporting to the COO and partnering with other PMA and NeueHealth leaders, you will evaluate and provide analysis from internal and external opportunities to drive PMA profitable growth. The Director of Business Development will provide thought leadership and provide direction on all of the PMA growth initiatives This role will be responsible for facilitating collaborative partnerships with functional stakeholders to identify, develop, and execute on opportunities using advanced data analytics and methods to enhance decision-making.. You will be knowledgeable and/or become knowledgeable of local market dynamics, understand the competitive marketplace, value based care initiatives and the local and nation health care policy initiatives that could affect our growth. You must have experience in financial modeling and reforecasting around key business decisions, such as acquisitions, IPA network development and service line growth. Primary Job Responsibilities: 1. Participates in planning, budgeting, policy making, and decision making related to growth initiatives for PMA and affiliates, 2. Identify targets and develop strategy on, M & A, affiliate/IPA and DeNovo opportunities, 3. Where appropriate, partner with NeueHealth Corporate Development team on aspects of M&A transactions, developing analysis and strategy, creating business cases and participating in deal negotiation, execution, and integration, 4. Responsible for monitoring M&A, MSO and IPA landscape and key announcements to develop view on industry activities and overall market trends, 5. Partner with the NeueHealth team(s) on access to and use of third party data bases to inform PMAs growth strategy, 6. Maintain and manage PMAs acquisition and affiliate/IPA pipeline, 7. In partnership with PMA Operations and NeueHealth central services, help develop and ensure the plans for post acquisition integration, 8. In partnership with Operations build pre-close financial impact statements and monitor this up to one year post close, 9. Serve as thought partner to CEO, assist with board presentations; actively participate in company s executive management team discussions, 10. Asses and develop business plans for new service line opportunities, 11. Strong ability to work autonomously; establish priorities, work independently, proceed with objectives, communicate and provide updates to management. essentially a strong drive and ability to get stuff done, TRAVEL * Must be able to travel to different locations within the PMA service area and to support national NeueHealth as needed QUALIFICATIONS * A Bachelor s degree and or 5-7 years of relevant experience; experien as investment banking analyst, consulting program, or experience as in- house corporate M&A experience a must, * Strong experience in healthcare with medical groups, IPAs and MSO organizations * Strong analytical skills, ability to perform financial, valuation, and broad quantitative analysis; good understanding of operations, * Strong business skills, exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to successfully work with physicians. Interface effectively both internally and externally, * Ability to collaborate and partner with all members of management and staff, * Clear written and spoken communication skills with the ability to interact with all functions of a company, including the executive level, * Demonstrated success of working cross-functionally as well as independently, * Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities as well as determine best courses of action for desirable outcomes, * Highly proficient with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on superior Excel and PowerPoint skills, * Must have superior professional written and verbal communication skills; English required, additional languages a plus.
