Our client are one of Britain's fastest growing multi-channel retailers of tools, accessories and building supplies. Client are based in Bridgwater, Somerset right next to the M5 junction and commutable from Bristol or Exeter but this is a fully remote role. They are growing and have this great opportunity to play a key role in the future success of their Business Analytics and Customer Insight teams.

You'll help define and scope the role and be responsible for the customer analysis to provide real value; adding insight on their significant and fast growing active customer base.
Focusing on their core Trade customers, there is a real appetite for customer insight to help inform and drive strategy for the business and as part of the Group as a whole, as they look to digitally transform their business.


Technical Expertise. Ideally you will have worked with Google Big Query. An expert user of Excel reporting tools and have a sound knowledge of ESP reporting tools.

Analytical and Data Driven Mindset. You have proven experience of customer database analysis, whilst confident in customer profiling and segmentation.

Commerciality. The customer is at the forefront of everything they do. From proactively seeking customer feedback to support adjusting and modifying the service strategy.

Detail Orientated. This role is incredibly busy! This means you'll need to remain aware and take care of details that are easily overlooked. Understand both your own, the teams, and the businesses priorities to effectively deliver excellent analysis of their customers behaviours


Analysing. Drawing from large data sets, you'll analyse a range of information from multiple sources. Use different analytical skills and styles to help drive customer focused decision making and deliver growth for the business.

Collaborating. Work closely with the CRM, Business Analytics teams and Insight Manager to exploit new customer segmentation definitions within the company. You'll use your findings to help predict and plan driving initiatives.

Informing. Be the expert in a data driven market. Use the analysis and reports to help communicate customer insights to stakeholders to help build the strategy.

Focus. Data integrity is key and will be a focal point and you'll be the source of truth for reporting across the business.
