As the Business Development Manager, you will have a direct impact on the organization through the management and mentoring of Trustwave's Business Development Team. The BDR team is responsible for Lead and Demand generation, as well as qualifying leads from marketing efforts. This role requires an experienced Manager that can coach a junior team to be successful in their BDR role and prepare them to become the Trustwave Sales Team of the future. Responsibilities Managing, Coaching, and Mentoring a team of 8-10 Business Development Representatives tasked with prospecting, Lead/Demand generation, and qualifying leads from various marketing sources. Creating cadences and outreach best practices for the team Partnering with Demand Gen and Marketing to drive campaigns and follow through Monitoring and managing BDR goals and KPIs Owning all lead generation (inbound and outbound) reporting in Salesforce Working with marketing operations to build out best practices around lead routing in Salesforce Creating, A/B Testing and providing feedback around campaign messaging Qualifications 5+ years in Business Development and/or Inside Sales Team management, ideally in the Technology and Service space Ability to use Demand Gen Content to engage more prospects, as well as the ability to coach junior reps on this practice Strong understanding of sales and marketing technologies and applications, specifically Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Marketo Experience developing Data Driven KPIs and reporting performance based on those KPIs Experience building an ongoing training program to develop BDRs in their current role and prepare them for promotion into Sales Education: We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
