We are looking for a senior architect with at least 8 years of relevant experience, and the necessary certificates. This role requires you to either be based in Belgium, or relocate.


  • 8 years of experience

  • Very good knowledge of Windows 2012, 2016, 2019 Server administration;

  • Broad, detailed and proven knowledge of various Microsoft technologies and services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS & File Services, RDS, Exchange, PKI etc)

  • Knowledgeable on Linux (CentOS/RedHat)

  • Proven knowledge of working hands-on with Cloud Services

  • Proven knowledge of working hands-on with hybrid setups (integrating on premise and various Cloud Services)

  • Proven knowledge of working with virtualization technologies (VMWare/Hyper-V)

  • Expertise in working with Identity Access and Management Solutions

  • Proven knowledge of working in complex/segregated network environments

  • Proven knowledge in providing secure and high available/load-balanced solutions

  • Certifications (Minimum 2 technical certifications - see below)

  • MCSA/MCSE: Server Infrastructure

  • MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008 and above

  • (Storage) NCSA, NCDA, NCIE

  • (Virtualisation) VCA-DCV, VCP4/5-DCV, VCAP4/5-DCA, VCAP4/5-DCD, VCDX4/5-DV, VCA-WM, VCP4/5-DT, VCAP-DTD, VCDX-DT - MCTS, MCITP: Virtualization Administrator (or higher)


  • Oracle RDBMS database administration

  • Cloud related certifications (AWS/Azure etc)

  • MS SQL certification

  • At least 1 technical architecture related certification: TOGAF or other

  • ITILv3 (or newer) certification(s);

  • English language proficiency must be high

Job description

  • Shape the design architecture based on business requirements and industry best practices, eg for:

  • future IT infrastructure evolutions, based on new technology possibilities, organizational structures and support models.

  • ICT security management in HQ and in the delegations.

  • Business continuity and disaster recovery management.

  • Perform impact analysis of:

  • changes in central architecture/infrastructure and support model.

  • new technologies on current ICT architecture

  • Create intake service analysis, high level (HLD) and low level (LLD) designs

  • Create LLD starting from an intake analysis or an HLD provided by the Senior Architects

  • Offer support and knowledge transfer to the Administrator that will deploy any of the designed solutions (in case of need)

  • Ensure the service governance and follow the policies for all services that he/she is required to work with

  • Contribute to the definition, development and improvement of all architecture related processed and documentation (eg architecture principles, framework, processes, templates, artefacts etc)

  • Offer support and technical consultancy whenever required for various teams (project, operations, service owners, demand/change managers etc)

  • Assess incoming demands and requests

  • Collaborate with external technology architects (QTM) and assist them in delivering the solutions within the client's context

  • Writing of high quality detailed documents (management summaries, vision documents, architectural design documents in general, migration documents, roadmaps, implementation documents, disaster recovery guides).

  • If requested, he/she might need to contribute or implement entirely architected solutions following the Low level design
