As a systems certification provider, Astronics CSC has worked on over 100 projects for industry partners to upgrade commercial and business aircraft with new passenger power systems, IFEC navigation, communication and flight safety systems. Summary Responsible for overseeing both the maintenance and growth improving the market position of the organization and helping it in every way to attain the desired financial growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties as assigned. Plan the long-term goals for Astronics CSC and ensure they are executed in the due course of time. Build key customer relationships to help the organization maintain a good position in the market. Deliver presentations and carry negotiations with both clients and prospective clients. Maintain extensive knowledge of the current developments in the business market in order to assess the position of the company and determine how to improve it. Increase PDT revenue contribution with non-aerospace contract manufacturing business and identify early-stage investment targets for due diligence. Work across Astronics SBUs to increase brand awareness and create new revenue streams in highly-regulated non-aerospace markets. Report all important information related to the company and key staff. Provide support to leadership team with occasional special projects. Provide PDT forecast and report annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly revenue streams. Establish effective communications with appropriate executives and managers to ensure proper sensitivity to sales needs. Maintain detailed knowledge of the company's technology and product offerings. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Astronics non-aerospace key markets, customers, partners, investors, and competition. Recommend new products, markets, and investment targets for Astronics CSC non-aerospace business. Work with Business Development & Program Management to identify new business opportunities. Job may involve both domestic and international travel, approximately 25% as needed. Provide leadership, management, and/or project-based supervisory responsibilities, as needed. Provide marketing support to increase brand awareness of PDT and Astronics. Responsible for implementing and complying with all ethical and legal compliance requirements. Other duties and functions may be assigned to this position, as needed. Working knowledge of ISO/9001/14000/13485/AS9100 and ITAR processes. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience Required: Must have a bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) in business, engineering, sales, marketing or related experience in business or sales management. 6+ years sales experience. Should have a working understanding of both sales and marketing; technical aptitude. Must have strong presentation and negotiation skills. Must possess strong time management, decision making and communications skills. Must be willing to influence the organization to meet customer needs.
