About the Opportunity The Developer Platform Group has an immediate opening for AVP of Cloud Data and Integration Engineering reporting to a Group Vice President. The Federal Reserve System's cloud foundation provides the centralized data, analytics and integration platform housing advanced data management, analytics, and integration solutions for business lines in the system. We work with state-of-the-art technologies that are part of the next generation data and integration ecosystem, which includes tools used for data storage, processing, cataloging, integration, APIs, data lakes, warehousing, and data analytics at scale. The Cloud Data and Integration Engineering AVP provides leadership to shape the direction of enterprise data and integration strategy in the Federal Reserve System. Directs and oversees the product strategy, development, delivery and adoption of Data Integration, Data Lake, Data warehouse, Data Catalog, Data governance, Analytics, API solutions and Security compliance. As an AVP, you will be accountable for leading and evolving the Data and integration foundation to meet current and future business needs. What You Will Do Create a technology vision and strategy for Data and integration Foundation Oversee architecture, design patterns, blueprints, guidelines, and standard methodologies for products Lead Data foundation function like a business by ensuring technology enables the businesses, improving quality, productivity while reducing cost and continuing to drive accountability Engage with Senior Executives, business leaders at the Federal Reserve and the Board to share the business value Develop and execute staffing plan for futuristic team, one centered around Product focused, Cloud, DevOps, Agile and SRE to meet evolving business priorities Promote collaboration across business and IT organizations Manages vendor relationships and execution of contracts/SOWs Oversees financial reporting requirements and provides support to senior executives on ad hoc assignments, as requested Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master's degree is preferred A minimum of five (5) years of high level leadership experience of industry-related IT work, including cloud technology and leading IT transformation or change initiatives within a multi-divisional, multifaceted organization Technology transformational leader in data and integration space with ability to motivate and empower the staff through culture of openness, trust and the feedback Must have Business Acumen to understand and anticipate business priorities Demonstrates mutual respect, embraces diversity, and acts with authenticity Demonstrated leadership ability with a proven record of successfully driving significant change Experience in developing Data cross product roadmaps and translating to overall enterprise level strategic plan Strong, effective communicator with ability to convey complex issues to a variety of stakeholders with an exceptional management presence Ability to develop and drive value from external partnerships, and excellent negotiation skills Able to effectively navigate and achieve results in a federated, multi-location, multi-divisional organizational structure with numerous and diverse business customers Excellent customer relationship management skills to interface effectively with customers including executives Exceptional problem-solving skills, willing to take ownership of issues, and drive for resolution Proven record in applying judgment in creating and sustaining a sense of urgency anticipating and/or preventing impacts to business operation Experience in driving microservices architecture with strong background in leading Cloud initiatives Experience in Data lake, Redshift, Glue, DMS and other AWS data related services including various compute and storage offerings Experience with Kafka, Spark, Hive and Airflow Experience with RDS, NOSQL Databases, RDBMS and in-memory databases Discover the Reason Why So Many People Love It Here!
