Caspian one is working an emerging FinTech, who are currently expanding exceptionally and heavily backed by Tier 1 Banks and Financial institutions. Great learning opportunity to work with Investment banking, hedge Fund, as well Tech giant staff. Due to it's innovative product, but expanding quickly they are looking for a balance in people who can drive future proof architecture and structure. They are now looking for a Developer Relations Engineer to work with their Product, engineering, marketing and Ops team.

As a Developer Relations Engineer you will work with the product, engineering, marketing and operations teams internally and with the many partners we integrate with. You will work on the many different technical and operational integration approaches we have: APIs, direct relationships, etc. You'll also be responsible for producing content (podcasts, training, etc) and managing support channels for our integration partners. As a member of the technical team, you will also review and contribute to API designs, write production ready code, and land testing for new features.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with third-party developers and strategic partners regularly, demonstrating the art of the possible, guiding them through various integration options, and troubleshooting any issues they may have.

  • Work on the core source code of the client's products with other engineers to identify, reproduce, and fix issues that are impacting our APIs and various integrations.

  • Advocate for external partners' needs internally, and influence product strategy by working with cross-functional teams.

  • Write, release, and manage APIs, SDKs, demo apps, tools, samples, blog posts, technical guides, or videos.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a Developer Relations or customer-facing technical role.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and an appetite to hunt down issues across the stack.

  • Positive attitude with experience working in customer facing products with a passion for the FinTech space.

  • Proven track record of launching APIs/SDK that have been adopted by various partners and guiding their integrations.

  • Extensive experience with producing publicly available documentation and best in class tools (eg. Swagger).

  • Experience contributing to open source projects is a plus.

  • Good experience with both SQL and No-SQL databases (eg. MySQL, Postgres, Mongo)

  • Exposure with AWS cloud services beneficial

  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
