The Role: DevOps / Kuberenetes / CI/CD / Terrafrom / AWS / Ansible / Ruby / Python / Java

* Deep dive into complex engineering, performance, security and scalability issues to increase efficiency and reduce customer incidents.

* Define and communicate the teams DevOps strategy and best practises for build, release and monitoring

* Provide consultancy for developing and deploying containerised, micro-service and serverless solutions (Docker, Kubernetes)

* Be responsible for the management of shared collaboration tools, repositories and CI/CD systems.

The Requirements:

* Experience of configuration management and Infrastructure as Code tooling, practises and processes (e.g. Chef, CloudFormation, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Fargate)

leveraging CI/CD tooling and processes (e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, Cope Pipeline).

* Experience with automated testing, TDD and BDD

* Experience working with the one or more following languages: Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java

* Experience in enterprise public cloud implementations preferably in public sector or in highly regulated environments focusing on AWS.
