Prime Care Technologies, a MSP in the long-term care space, is looking for a SEIM Engineer to join our team in Duluth, GA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.
  • Identify and define system security requirements
  • Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs.
  • Uses risk assessment tools, technologies and methods, ex. SIEM solutions. Understands architecture, implementation, deployment and support of these tools.
  • Understands endpoint and network security solutions including vulnerability scanning, file integrity monitoring and data loss prevention.
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
  • Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
  • Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents.
  • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement.
  • Direct experience with anti-virus software, intrusion detection, network security, Firewalls and content filtering.
  • Experience designing, maintaining and supporting secure systems and application architecture revolving around personal health information and payment processing transactions.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods
  • Compliance experience in implementing IT security controls for NIST800-53r4, HIPAA, ISO27001/27002/27018, PCIDSS, HiTech and/or SOX programs
  • Azure/Cloud knowledge and experience
  • Experience implement and administering security features and tools within MS365 environment.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills and abilities)

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, computer engineering or equivalent combination of training, advanced certifications, education, and prior job experience that would provide the required skills and abilities.

  • Must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience working as a System of Network Engineer.

  • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in information security.
  • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux
  • Must possess advanced coding skills based in security using Python, HTML, CSS or other languages
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining security systems.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security
  • Hands on experience in security systems, including Firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
  • Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
  • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
  • Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Preferred Technical Certifications

  • CCNP, CCIE, CCDP or CCVP or equivalent
