The Role The Full Stack Developer’s primary responsibility work is to carry out all configuration and development activities related to the company’s bespoke applications. In addition to this, they will be required to analyse and contribute to functional specifications provided by business users and produce technical specifications in line with customers. * Configure, develop and deliver new scalable software to internal and external customers * Create/modify existing applications as requested by the business evolving towards a clean architecture. * Debug system problems, design and implement resolutions * Technical liaison to business groups for application support and provide 3rd level support to Service Desk * Assist in training junior team members * Work with key stakeholders in the business to gather application requirements and provide estimates * Take responsibility for delivering development tasks within agreed timelines * Coordinate and contribute to end-user training including development of system documentation and training materials * Creation of technical documentation for all customisations and integrations * Any other tasks as reasonably required What we want from you As a full stack developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a good attention to detail. * Strong programming experience using front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Bootstrap, Android) * Strong programming experience using some back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, T-SQL) and frameworks (e.g. .NET, .NET Core, MVC, WebApi, NancyFx, AngularJs, Entity Framework, WinForms/WPF, Rx) * Working knowledge of GIT or any similar source code repositories * Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD) experience * Experience of API Development and tools such as Swagger, rancher etc * Ability to document code customisations and integrations in compliance with established standards and practices * Ability to debug errors efficiently and effectively * Experience of working within an agile and flexible working environment * Capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously within agreed timescales * Exceptional customer service skills, follows up with key stakeholders and team members, and takes Initiative to anticipate and solve problems * Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives with a minimum of supervision * The ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business and to adapt your style and technical approach as required The Benefits The Successful candidate will receive the following benefits SALARY TBC 22 day's holiday plus bank holidays Eligible to join a yearly bonus scheme following completion of probation To occasionally work from home or another location by agreement Ongoing career development, training and coaching – because if you don’t grow, we don’t grow.
