Would you like to join a global manufacturing company with a small finance team based in Hull and offering a really varied role? My client is seeking a qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant for a management accounting position with a really broad remit. Candidates need to have previous tax experience. A generous salary is on offer combined with some flexibility on working hours and a Friday afternoon off! THE ROLE: Reporting to the Head of Finance the role will include the following: -Preparation of management accounts to deadline -Monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasting -Analysis and forecasting across departmental divisions -Completing balance sheet reconciliations -Prepare short term cash forecasts -Supervise a small team -Identify process improvements -Prepare and complete timely UK and foreign tax returns -An abundance of ad hoc duties as and when required THE CANDIDATE: You are a qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant who enjoys management accounting but who also is looking for a role offering plenty of scope. You might be currently working in a manufacturing environment however this role is also open to candidates coming straight from professional practice and looking to make the break into industry. Confident in your own abilities and communication style, you are looking to join a relatively small finance team in Hull but with the capability to liaise effectively with finance on a global basis. THE COMPANY: My client is a long established Hull company in the manufacturing sector and with an international presence. The location has good road links and public transport is available close to the site. THE BENEFITS: c£40,000 - c£45,000 + pension + profits share after 2 years + Christmas bonus + generous holiday entitlement + all Friday afternoons off. There is also some flexibility offered where possible on start and leave times depending on the needs of the individual.
