Your tasks

As an Agile Business Requirements Engineer in Claims & Health Management, you will work closely with representatives of the specialist departments in Claims and Care Management. As a trusted advisor, you will be able to build bridges between customer needs and technical possibilities in order to implement effective and user-friendly solutions in order to support the efficient processing of claims and support for beneficiaries of all international branches.

You will accompany the departments in the conception and ensure the successful implementation in cross-functional teams. You will develop efficient solutions with the best possible benefit, act as a business analyst and be part of an agile delivery team.

Your main tasks also include:

Value-adding implementation of the product backlog for group life insurance as well as accident & health

Supporting the product owner in the preliminary analysis and assessment of the product backlog

Collection and analysis of technical requirements (business rules, use cases, non-functional requirements) in direct cooperation with the specialist departments

Transforming business needs into system requirements as well as transferring and assessing solution options, taking into account economic, organizational and technical boundary conditions

Development of specifications and test cases based on user stories for system integration components and business applications that support various technologies

Validation of new functionality and its usability together with the specialist department as well as implementation of user training

Technical support of users for the systems and processes in the area of responsibility of the Claims & Health Management team

Your profile

Bachelor or master in business informatics, economics, IT and/or insurance background with relevant practical experience

3-5 years of experience as a requirements engineer/business analyst, ideally in the insurance or financial sector

3-5 years of experience in software development projects, ideally in interdisciplinary teams in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)

Experience with requirements engineering methods and documentation standards (user stories, UML, BPMN)

Technical know-how in the area of life insurance, in particular benefit and care management, is a plus

Experience in (partial) project management in IT projects is a plus

German and English spoken and written
