Bluetooth Software Test Engineer

Title: Sr. Software Test Engineer (Bluetooth)

Location: Richardson, TX

Duration: 6months + and good potential to extend-long term

Manager Notes:

• unit level testing, integrated testing and systems testing
• Grey Box level testing
• Must be very strong with Bluetooth and Wi/FI
• Some development and mostly testing experience-testing the stack from the Controls team
• Put code in the Controls stack and test the stack
• Will have to write some code to test it
• Need C++ if you can find it these days
• Silicon labs process for Bluetooth required
• Understand schematics for Bluetooth protocols inside the devices
• Bluetooth is the most important
• Will work remote now but when the office opens back up in April or May they will have to come in 2-3 times a week

Job Description:

• Experience in design, development and/or testing of Bluetooth, BLE or BLE Mesh stack and applications
• Expertise in C, C++, Real Time operating systems (RT Linux)
• Experience in Unit, Integration and System level test methodologies
• Has a good understanding of Bluetooth SIG specifications
• Ability to diagnose and debug software/hardware failures at component and system level
• Familiarity with other RF protocols like Wi-Fi, ZigBee etc.
• Familiarity of Bluetooth/BLE compliance testing
