Software Engineer SAP CAR/ECC Consultant (Remote)

Urgently required for a remote-based role for an established global retail client, a software engineer with experience of SAP CAR & SAP ECC to join a team where the main focus is to provide top of the line tools to manage promotions in all channels.

Role:

* To transform the tech landscape within the Promotion area - omni channel tools

* Translate strategies and requirements into modern and scalable solution designs.

* Design, develop and support the solutions in the product.

* Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative designs. Collaborate with other product teams to help and provide the best end-user experience.

* Seek opportunities to automate, document and improve processes.

Key Skills:

* Strong experience in SAP CAR and SAP ECC

* Strong experience in system architecture & software design patterns

* Strong experience of designing and developing APIs, microservices, and system integration architecture.

* Experience in Cloud, CI/CD, containerization and test automation.

* Great understanding of Pricing/Promotion and Price Change Processes

Qualifying requirements:

* Experience from Hybris

* Knowledge from agile way of working methodology (preferably scrum)

* SAP PMR (Promotion Management for Retail)

Language skills

* English
