Embedded Software Engineer - Mobile Development - C | Android | Kotlin

Tiro Partners are working with a world-famous financial services company in Brussels who is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a Mobile Engineering team on a long term contract.

The successful Embedded Software Engineer will work with a team of designers & engineers developing new products and platforms for their customer base, building interactive experiences & touch points throughout the consumer journey.

Strong skills across C Programming, Java, Kotlin and Python are highly sought after.

You'll be working in a fast-paced multicultural team working closely within the wider global development team, product owners and key stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong Knowledge of C programming
• A solid background of Android Development/Mobile Development
• Hands on experience of writing Android apps
• Ideally have solid experience of Java, Kotlin and/or Python
• Have a good understanding of full SDLC
• Knowledge of developing trends and emerging standards in mobile apps (RxJava, Kotlin, etc), mobile payments, and wearables
• Bug fix/Fix Android build issues
• Participate on Slack, Github & Jira
• Excellent communication skills/collaborative/team player
• Fluency in English essential
