Business Analyst (Credit Risk/Lombard - Lending)

On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager with proven experience of Credit Risk and Lending business.


Responsibilities:



  • This role, which is based in Zurich, is collaborating with Front Office, risk management, trading, and IT

  • Work with program workstream in line with the Bank's project management practices and standards

  • Supervise creating business requirements provided by key business partners, and documenting these into business rules and aligning them with our operating model

  • Build the bridge between IT and the business by translating and tailoring the technical content into business applicable material with recommendations and insights relevant to the audience at hand

  • Lead deep dive analyses, data profiling & data transformation rules and proposing solutions for data visualization

  • Work in partnership with upstream and downstream systems owners and programs to define business solutions and develop functional specifications that deliver requirements

  • Drive definition of requirements for a business process digital workflow by working in close coordination the business teams to ensure effective visualization

  • Perform impact and gap analysis of various changes to systems and processes, as well as scope changes

  • Oversight of business validation and User Acceptance Testing activity, while working closely with the front and Back Office teams


Skills:



  • Over 7 years of experience in project management, collecting and translating business requirements with data management capabilities, process analysis and change experience in a similar role within a large financial institution

  • Very good knowledge of Lombard loans product

  • Strong understanding Credit Risk from process workflow perspective with direct experience in credit risk system or digital workflow implementations is an advantage

  • Knowledge of digital workflows and Risk processes

  • Proficient understanding of front to back systems and requirements within risk functions of International Banks and Wealth Management

  • Significant experience of embedding new risk management systems in a sophisticated organization, paired with a deep understanding of strategic program delivery

  • You are a dedicated problem solver with a positive personality and can-do attitude

  • Proficiency in English, any other languages are a plus
