Senior Business Development Duration 6 month FTC (interim position) (potential contact to perm) Salary on offer £65,000-£83,000 pro rata ( Negotiable ) Reporting to the Head of Business Development An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Development Manager to join a progressive and commercially-oriented global Law firm (main focus insurance and corporates) based in central London. Working on both contentious and non-contentious matters, clients range from multinationals to UK corporates and other professional practices. The Retail sector is one of the firm’s core areas of focus and a part of the Commercial Division. This Senior Business Development Manager position will focus on supporting the firm's MIPTOC (Media, Intellectual Property, Technology, Outsourcing and Commercial) practices. The objective of the role will be to work alongside the existing manager supporting key activities and initiatives, carrying out a full handover and ensuring smooth and seamless support for the Retail and MIPTOC group. Once the existing Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM) has left, the role will be the key point of Business Development (BD) support for the two groups before ensuring a smooth handover to a new incoming permanent manager as and when they are recruited. Overview of the role:- Duties: Responsibility for defining and delivering the Retail group's business and business development strategy. Full responsibility for the coordination and delivery all advisory, support marketing and business development services The role will draw together multiple services in support of the Retail Group, it will also help to define and deliver ongoing support for the firm's MIPTOC group Responsibility for supporting the Retail group's ongoing BD activities and initiatives Coordinate joined-up marketing and BD through the wider BMS team in support of Retail and MIPTOC clients and prospects The successful candidate will support Retail related BD and Marketing activity with a focus on three key streams: Food & Drink, Digital Retail, Stores of the Future. Each stream has two partner leads. In addition, the successful candidate will also have responsibility for advisory and support marketing and BD services for the MIPTOC group of practices. 5 years plus experience as BDM/ Account Management experience (Professional Services background required) Do you have the relevant experience?
