Project Manager
La Fosse Associates are working with an Insurance Broker based in Sweden who are seeking a Business Analyst (Must be Swedish speaking) based in Stockholm for a nine-month assignment, starting as soon as possible.
The role of the Business Analyst is to enable increased operational efficiency through the delivery of an end-to-end sustainable Broking Platform solution, using technology to optimise the insurance processing life cycle and applications within it.
The job holder will perform Business Analysis within specific project implementations for a Howden business unit or legal entity and will be highly experienced in Insurance Broking including finance process and change. They will become the expert in Group Broking Platform end-to-end processing life cycle.
The role requires:- Clear demonstrable experience as an Insurance Broking Business Analyst
- Perform finance business, technology requirements and design analysis that translates HBGs plan for a Digital Broking Platform from vision through to global implementation
- Able to create detailed requirements artefacts including process models, functional/non-functional and data requirements
- Requirements management including assuring availability of key analysis products
Requirements Engineering
- Requirements gathering and analysis for programme and project, using a variety of methodologies: (functional/non-functional requirements, user stories, backlog, traceability)
- Performing the full requirements life cycle - elicitation, analysis, documentation and management
- Planning, managing and running workshops, interviews and prototyping sessions in order to elicit requirements
- Work with Product Owners to build and maintain product backlogs which can be used to gain stakeholder agreement as well as provide suitable information to developers to build/configure products
- Becoming an expert in system requirements during the implementation of a project
- Describing & documenting requirements and changes during implementation
- Ability to drive the prioritization of requirements
- Delivery the Business Analysis accountabilities throughout the delivery life cycle
Skills & behaviours
- Ability to perform detailed data analysis in a fast-moving team with shifting priorities
- Demonstrate ability to deliver high quality business analysis objectives and meet strict deadlines
- Skilled in creating accurate technical documentation which is easily understood by target audience
- Knowledge of workflow design and implementation of workflow design and implementation of new workflows
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
- MoSCoW, SWOT, PESTLE, RACI Charts, stakeholder mapping and other methodologies
- Conveying information using various artefacts such as: conceptual architecture, mock up screens and wireframe
- Good communicator - has stand up presentation skills and is able to influence others
- Able to build productive working relationships across the team and with key stakeholders
