Microsoft SQL server DBA

Hanson Regan is looking for a Microsoft SQL Server DBA for a 10 month contract working remotely then Belgium once possible.

Database Optimization & Tuning - As a DBA you will:
Have a thorough understanding of query plans and indexing and understand how to tune indexes to optimize database performance;
Analyze technical issues, provide feedback to both internal organization and suppliers and think about long term solutions that will prevent the problem in the future;
Create and maintain SQL server maintenance jobs (backup and recovery, develop and maintain business continuity, manage index fragmentation and keep statistics up-to-date);
Design new database architectures based on client needs;
Analyze existing database systems using structured analysis and Datamodelling techniques, provides recommendations for improvement;
Coordinate and perform maintenance work to database systems;
Collaborate with project teams to manage system interdependencies;
Create and maintain documentation, organize knowledge sharing sessions;
Perform calculations, interdependency analysis and prioritization exercises related to systems changes
