Cloud Security Engineer (Microsoft) - Amsterdam, The Netherlands - Freelance

We are currently working with a global financial services client situated in Amsterdam, to secure a Microsoft Cloud Security Engineer on a freelance basis.

The Role: Cloud Security Engineer (Microsoft)

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will use your expertise to implement security controls, threat protection measures, managing identity and access, and ensure the all-round security of Microsoft applications in Azure Cloud.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience;

• Azure Active Directory Security - RBAC -IAM


• Understanding of Identity concepts


• Azure MFA and Identity Protection toolset


• Knowledge of Microsoft CASB Suite (Microsoft Cloud App Security) - Azure Identity Protection and Conditional Access


• Knowledge of Azure Sentinel - Playbook and Logic App designing


• Understanding Microsoft 365 and Azure Secure Score Concepts, Understanding Microsoft Service Trust Concepts


• Azure Security Centre


• Understanding of Networking stacks concepts


• Understanding of Azure Network Monitor tools and Azure Network Flows analyser


• Azure Information Protection - Sensitive Label


• Azure ATP Integration with On-Premises Domain Services


• Microsoft Defender ATP - Endpoint Security


• Proficient in M365 security portals: protection.office.com - compliance.Microsoft.com (EMS License Security Package)


• General understanding of Data Privacy and Cloud Data governance


• Any contribution to Open Source Projects or Githhub community participation is a plus


• Microsoft AZ-500 and MS-500 Certificate
