Regulatory Change and Projects Manager


Reporting to PIA Head of Compliance and MLRO and managing 2 direct reports. Responsible for managing PIA Compliance's responsibility for identifying and assessing the impact of Regulatory Change on PIA and providing proactive compliance advisory services on PIA projects where PIA Compliance input is required. Will work collaboratively with their counterparts in PIA's branches.


Role responsibilities include:
* Responsible for managing direct reports
* Responsible for executing analysis on future regulatory changes impacting PIA and agreeing required actions with the business to effect change
* Production of governance and board reports on regulatory change impacting PIA
* Responsible for performing compliance advisory in respect of PIA projects where Compliance input is required
* Responsible for representing PIA Compliance on relevant Change Projects and Regulatory Forums where PIA Compliance attendance and input is required, including internal and external forums
* Responsible for delivery of Regulatory Change Communications to PIA staff including via Yammer and a quarterly newsletter
* Responsible for providing classroom training (including virtually) to relevant business areas on regulatory developments
* Responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of the Compliance Universe
* Management of PIA Regulatory Change Tracker


Experience
* Professional qualification eg, ACOI compliance qualification or equivalent
* At least 5 years of practical experience in Compliance within a CBI or FCA regulated financial services firm or consultancy
* Strong knowledge and practical experience of Irish and UK regulatory requirements, including Solvency II, PRIIPs, IDR
* Experience of managing teams
* Well versed in all life insurance financial products
* Experience with establishing and meeting critical deadlines, as well as tracking and driving execution
* Experience working in a fast paced environment and meeting deadlines
* Experience of reporting and influencing at Governance Committees or Board
* Experience of producing and delivery compliance training
* Experience of producing technical content for a wider audience
