Electronics Design Engineer

For a customer of ours in the Military/Defence industry, I am looking for an Electronics engineer.

Start: ASAP (max 1 months notice)

Duration: Minimum 1 year + possible extensions

Region: North Holland

KEY technical properties

• Demonstrable experience with Processing platforms & high speed interfaces


• Supervising layout work (performed by dedicated layouter)


• Demonstrable experience with Signal Integrity simulation & realization


• On board level (constraint manager for board design)


• Interfaces outwards (connector transitions & S-parameter assemblies)


• Experience with Design for EMC

Key technical properties

• Demonstrable experience with Processing platforms


• Demonstrable experience in the development of complex Audio solutions both analog and digital domain


• Supervising layout work (performed by dedicated layouter)


• Strongly analogous to general analog


• Experience with Design for EMC

Pre technical properties

• Experience with Cadance


• Experience with version control tooling (GIT)


• Knowledge & experience of intercom systems and/or complex network solutions (ie Server/Client solutions)


• Experiences with Platform Standards COMe Type 6/7 & SMARC 2.0


• Knowledge of the following interface types & associated standards:

  • Interfaces Video interfaces: DVI/HDMI/Display port

• Knowledge & experience in developing military applications & developing against military standards such as MIL-STD-810G & MIL-STD-461.


• Thematic design, optimizing the thermal management processor platform

• Easy to manage from PO/Arch in technical solution


• Thinks along in technical solution but is open to suggestions & alternatives from others


• Pragmatic/Doer: Transitions easily from theory to practice as soon as this is possible and justified. First prove that it works & document what is needed/requested.


• Flexible: can work on multiple subjects in parallel or alternately (based on set priorities)


• Pre: Knowledge & experience when working in SCRUM team
