Senior API Management Platform integration Engineer (2x)P - Amsterdam - Start ASAP

Next Ventures seeks 2 x API Integration engineers to work within a key financial services project. These roles are based onsite in Amsterdam, and start ASAP.

In this role you will participate in an energetic and experienced team to build an integration platform that will be used in a large number of IT chains to support our business processes. The platform needs to be highly available and secure.

You will work on a service oriented architecture and have great opportunities to learn and grow.

Develop skills/competencies:

• Strong focus on API based system integration: integration, SOA and other Integration Design Patterns


• Azure knowledge: ARM templates, API management


• Automation & monitoring capabilities
• Azure DevOps (continuous integration, testing and deployment)
• DevOps skills/knowledge (operational tasks and platform related maintenance)
• YAML/Pipeline knowledge

Coding skills/languages:

Has extensive experience and knowledge in:

• Python
• Bash/Shell
• Windows/Linux
• Secure programming
• API Security: TLSMA, Oauth
• API testing: Postman, Newman
• Source control (GIT)
• Deployment automation

Additional skills:

• Knowledge of Agile software development (eg Scrum)
• Shares good development practices/experiences with the team
• Good English speech and writing skills is a must
• Teamplayer; likes to collaborate with other team members
• Open mindset, easy going but not scared to openly give her/his opinion
• Eager to learn and develop her/himself as a professional
