Senior Business Analyst (Banking & Finance)

IntelliConsulting Services is currently looking for Senior Business Analyst for a client of ours based in Brussels.

As a Senior Business Analyst:

• Meet with business partners on a regular basis for support and updates
• Handling multiple stakeholder scenario
• Creating business requirement documents
• Facilitate skills to conduct requirement felicitation session, JAD sessions, individual interviews and research
• Documentation of requirements using Use Case modelling, ER (Entity Relationship) modelling etc.
• Preparation of Functional & non-functional specification requirements
• Coordination and organization skills, run meetings, track progress
• Create clear agile user stories with proper description and acceptance criteria
• Compile, create and summarize/analyze data clearly and concisely to help drive fact-based decision making
• Work in Agile, Waterfall and mix of delivery model teams
• Able to co-ordinate analysis amongst multiple teams and stakeholders
• More than 5 years of proven experience as a Business/functional analyst

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Problem solving and decision making skills: Thinking analytically, applying research skills and knowing how to and where to go to solve problems
• Strong skills in planning and scheduling
• Build strong relationships with business partners
• Drive a repeatable and sustainable process to ensure objectives are being met
• Should be fluent in English. Dutch and/or French is a plus

Key Domain skills:

• Good experience in capital markets
• Good understanding of securities (Stocks & Bonds)
• Good understanding of Trade Life Cycle with more focus on post trade activities (Settlement)
• Good understanding of financial Credit Management, Liquidity Management and Treasury functions
