Avaloq Technical Test Specialist

A fin-tech organisation is seeking an Avaloq Technical Test Specialist to undertake a freelance project in Bioggio, Lugano. This project will last a minimum of 6 months, but it is likely to be extended. Ideally they would be looking for candidates as local as possible.

What you will have the opportunity to do as a Avaloq Technical Test Specialist

Manage test environments (installation, baseline definition, assessment on environment readiness)

Develop test scripts for automated test cases

Identify and create data sets to support test execution

Skills and experience required as an Avaloq Technical Test Specialist:

8+ years of total experience

Test Specialist with focus on technical testing areas - automation of test cases, API testing, performance testing

Knowledge of API testing and test automation concepts and platforms

Working knowledge of building and maintaining technical test frameworks (API, Java, PL/SQL, REST, SOAP)

Working knowledge of technical and automation test tools (Postman, SoapUI, Selenium)

Working knowledge of Database Management systems (Oracle)

In-depth knowledge of Test concepts and methodology

Desired (but not essential) skills and experience required as an Avaloq Technical Test Specialist:

Working knowledge of Micro Focus QC/ALM, JIRA

ISTQB Certification or equivalent

Knowledge of Avaloq banking system solution (Avaloq Certified Professional/Avaloq Certified Specialist)

Experience with Data Injection & Test Data Management techniques

Experience with Build & CI/CD tool chain (Jenkins, Bamboo, Artifactory)

Knowledge of OpenAPI, Apache Kafka & Containers is an advantage

Experience of testing in Agile context: (Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, TDD, BDD)
