Electrical Technician West Midlands Salary: £26,000 The Client A family owned company located in the West Midlands established over 100 years ago and one of the UK’s largest chemical manufacturers. Manufacturers of fine chemicals and rubber supplying a wide range of clients and boasting a strong team of chemists with expertise in process optimisation and manufacture. This client is enjoying continued growth and is increasing their head count with the appointment of an Electrical Technician. The Role As Electrical Technician you will report to the Lead Electrical Engineer and you will have experience of performing electrical maintenance both reactive and preventative in a manufacturing / industrial environment. As Electrical Technician you will be capable of installations, modification work, inspections and have the ability to work with equipment drawings, manuals along with other technical information. The Candidate The successful applicant for the role of Electrical Technician will have a recognised electrical apprenticeship and be educated in an Electrical discipline with 18th Edition electrical wiring regulatory qualifications. It is not necessary but those with Complex (Ex01-04) & (Ex 05-06) qualifications and training with MEWP would be considered more desirable. There will be possible progression within the role and some external training available. This position is a 38 hour week and will benefit from an electrical call-in rota additional payment once you are established. You will also benefit from 25 days holiday, all UK Bank holidays, paid sickness and free life assurance.
