SunIRef:Event139 This position is responsible for ensuring that the payroll for approximately 21,000 Team Member nationwide is processed in an accurate and timely manner and in compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Orchestrates the bi-weekly processing of approximately 21,000 Team Member paychecks. Utilizes JOANN payroll system to ensure that payroll information is gathered, analyzed, and processed appropriately to allow for the bi-weekly payment of wages to all Team Members Company-wide. Audits, validates, and reconciles payroll data both prior to and after transmission. Completes payroll system maintenance as needed. Troubleshoots payroll system issues and partners with the appropriate parties (e.g., HRIS, IT) to ensure that the issues are resolved in a timely manner. Partners with Payroll, Finance, Benefits, and other departments to ensure that payroll system meets the needs of all users. Understands all payroll laws and regulations, including taxation, garnishment, deductions, etc. Develops ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed. Performs other tasks as required.
