Req ID: The Job Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Systems Analyst for the Monetization & Workplace Tech: HE, DCE, CP, Games & Foundational Tech department. The Quality Assurance Business Analyst is responsible for acting as a liaison between the business and the technical teams to ensure the delivery of technology solutions that meet the business needs and support growth targets. The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for all quality assurance testing and test planning as well as ensuring that best practices are followed throughout all agile projects. The Daily Business Analysis: Provide thorough analysis of business processes and anticipate, develop and document requirements. Recommend areas of improvement and implement technical solutions that meet business needs. Create as-is and to-be workflow documentation as needed. During our Agile projects this business analyst must work closely with the business, the technical teams and product management team to ensure solutions meet business specification and align with strategic priorities. Must work with the Scrum Master to ensure that product backlog is prioritized and effectively groomed. Collaborate with technical lead and teams to confirm solutions are compatible with WB Tech standards. Deliver thorough user stories and functional designs /wireframes, test cases, test scripts and end user training materials. DevOps: Work closely with the Director, Software Engineering to evaluate and implement technical solutions that meet the business needs. Support technical transformations by documenting technical specifications that align with the functional requirements. Execute against plan to develop and launch applications, functionality and features as prioritized by the business. Work with internal and external developers to endure code standards and best practices are always implemented. Work closely with teams to help with data engineering activities as required. DevOps Support: Lead ongoing application small enhancements and support for all systems within a portfolio by a) working with the end users, Product Owners, business sponsors and technology sponsors to document requirements and designs and determine priority b) working with the technical teams to estimate the work through the sprint planning processes and c) quickly resolve incident by working with the end users and technical teams. The Essentials 3+ years of engineering experience 2+ years delivering using Agile framework Demonstrated proficiency in data modeling and data structures Demonstrated experience implementing database technologies such as NoSQL and Relational Databases Highly proficient in XML, JSON and YAML, data exchange formats. Experience in XSDs and triple stores. Proficient in API design and development, specifically REST APIs. Experience with Swagger 2.0 and AWS API gateway is preferred. Highly proficient in at least one modern programming language such as python, java, or node.js. Experience with Source code and knowledge of repositories such as git, Jira or equivalent systems. Proficient in core DevOps principles. Must play close attention to detail Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication (both written and verbal) Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously that include: Simultaneous workstreams and development teams Iterative agile projects with ongoing releases User Acceptance Testing Change Management / Training focus Content Management, Production, Sales & Distribution and Financial business process acumen Experience in Media & Entertainment Industry Undergraduate Degree is not required if technical training or certifications are available. Ability to work closely with end users, Product Owners and Project Sponsors and Management to understand and document business needs and requirements Ability to work closely with the technical teams to deliver system features that meet business requirements Ability to guide business assessments with key stakeholders to deliver quality requirements, design and roadmap documentation that supports targeted growth objectives Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness, even in the face of complexity Become a Technology SME on the business applications within our portfolio Have a solid understanding of end to end application and data architecture to support requirements analysis, testing, and troubleshooting Test all new features and defect resolutions Participate in Business Requirements Analysis and documentation on designated new capabilities developed by Symmetry development Develop traceability matrix for business requirements as they relate to technical specifications, test plans and test scripts Conduct manual testing of applications, reports, ETL, and other software solutions Work with Developers, other project team members to analyze test results, locate problems, identify root causes and develop solutions Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing Identify, log, classify, track, and monitor software defects Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of products Develop system, unit and regression test cases for critical applications with frequent changes Help troubleshoot issues by investigating and verifying end-user reported defects Demonstrates resiliency when met with challenges Excellent planning and organizational skills Proficiency in documentation and report writing Proficient in agile framework Logical and critical thinking skills Proficiency with Agile Development software Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision Maintain a productive working environment for the team(s) Demonstrates resiliency when met with challenges Functional knowledge of the following systems and processes: Jira & Confluence MS Navision Dynamics Box & Box Relay Adaptive Workfront Snowflake Data Warehouse Teradata Data Warehouse Master Data Management & Governance best practices General office activities - walking, standing, sitting, speaking, finger manipulation, lifting, bending, etc. Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in person, on the phone or in virtual meetings Must be able to pay close attention to complex detail and understand written and oral instructions Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively Must be able to work well under time constraints Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned Must be service-oriented Must be able to work independently Must be able to demonstrate resilience and reset quickly if/when encountering potential setbacks Must be able to work standard hours (9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) with some flexible hours, including possible overtime, when necessary Must be able to maintain confidentiality Warner Media, LLC and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
