Inventory Supervisor

The Inventory Supervisor coordinates inventory functions and ensures the Company inventory remains balanced.

• Cycle count errors and stock relocation errors are counted and logged daily
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in assigned work area, the facility and on the premises
• Investigating short ships, backorders and NOH
• Must be able to complete and thoroughly research aisle reports, vendor PO's, receiving paperwork, adjustment history, quantity transfers and drop ship histories
• Accurately make inventory adjustments when necessary
• Finding lost or damaged product is cataloged
• Effectively communicate with all departments
• Meet deadlines
• Complete all work accurately and neatly
• Maintain high quality customer service through accuracy and neatness
• Currently hold MHE Certification or become certified within 3 months
• Prior supervisory experience and leadership skills a must
• Extensive knowledge in Inventory Control is necessary
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Must be able to read and accurately perform simple math
• Basic computer skill, ie: Excel and Word
• Ability to follow directions
• 1-3 years' experience in a picking/packing environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Data entry, Time Management, Organization, Planning, Coordination, Dependability, Reporting Skills and Documentation Skills
• Support periods of increased business by working overtime and weekends
• Willing to work different schedules when needed
• Cross train as directed to meet workload needs
• Perform various tasks as directed by management
