Company Description

My client is a well-established house hold name in confectioneries and beverages. Their products can be found in more than 100 countries worldwide and they are currently looking for a Packaging Specialist to join their inventive R&D team.

Job Description

The R&D has two main roles within the company. The first is building Technology Platforms and second on Product Development. The R&D department also have a strong influence on the decisions made in the Marketing, Operation and Purchase Departments.

About the role

• You will be responsible for developing packaging material specifications.


• You must be able to communicate effectively with all levels in the company.


• Organise project plans and assess performance against them.


• Ensure team work closely to plan and coordinate trials.


• Create a network with existing Suppliers as well as developing new business with Procurement.


• Seek new ideas relevant to confectionery packaging, driving forward innovations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a packaging development role or similar with expertise in CQV, LCA and PLM. Ideally within a FMCG environment


• Experience with sustainable materials is preferable


• Fluent in English and knowledge of Dutch.


• Experience in project management is essential.
