Core Network Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Core network engineer to join this leading global telecoms provider.
The role involves designing and implementing an anti DDOS solution and B2B L2 VPN services for various customers

The successful candidate will work on a mixture of both Cisco and Juniper kit

Daily tasks/activities

* Review and validate high-level design and migration plan
* Create low-level design and detailed migration plan
* Perform end-to-end testing of engineered solutions before deployed in live networks
* Implement/deploy network solutions/services and execute of network changes according to the network engineering plans during nightly change windows

Essential experience

Extensive experience in networking protocols such as ISIS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPNs, QoS
Experience on Cisco and Juniper products
Network security standards, rules and regulations experience
