Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a System and Security Engineer to join the team who provide support to the Internet Facing Applications

Main responsibilities

• Interesting and challenging position in the area of Internet Facing Applications (IFA) integration and Support within the technological infrastructure.


• Accountability for the IFA, Proxy Infrastructure and the corresponding Software Components eg Web Application Firewall (WAF), Reverse Proxy and Authentication Systems


• Onboarding of new clients


• Join the tactical engineering phase as well as Use case/Problem analysis, solution architecture and realization


• Collaborate and exchange your knowledge with the various engineering departments in the wider area of security

Your skills:

• You have a consistent record of at least 3 years in Unix/Linux - RedHat and Network technologies and an excellent knowledge in the field of OS Security and Web Security


• You have good knowledge of at least one of the following Scripting languages: Python/Perl/bash (+3 years of experience)


• You have good knowledge of this web technologies: HTML 5, Javascript, CSS, AngularJS


• Good interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain positive relationships with senior management and other partners


• You are willing for on-call duty and work out of office hours for deployment of IT Changes


• Experience with Agile/Scrum


• A degree in Computer Science (ETH/Uni/FH) or equivalent education in the Information Technology field
