Infrastructure Architect Red Hat Linux Networking HPE UNIX VMware Oracle WebLogic JBoss Brussels Belgium

Technical Requirements:

Technical understanding of IT products for every layer in the stack.
Knowledge of most commercial and open source alternatives for the following layers:

• Application frameworks and accelerators (custom vs. packaged);
• Application Servers: Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, JBoss Middleware and queuing solutions
• Database & storage technologies and platforms: Oracle, NoSQL
• Virtualization technologies: VMware
• Operating systems: RHEL, Unix, MS Windows
• Physical Infrastructure: racks, blades, network
• Technical understanding of the characteristics of application styles and when to apply each:
• Business Intelligence and Analytics platforms; Batch-driven applications; Web applications;

Mission - You will be working within the infrastructure team:

• Develops infrastructure architecture in line with defined strategy;
• Defines, assesses and coordinates architecture projects and designs architecture building blocks;
• Designs and coordinates architecture implementations;
• Provides advice on architecture frameworks and methods;
• Coordinates the technical implementation;
• Maintain the infrastructure related documentation by ensuring that all the latest projects changes implemented are reflected in the documents.
