Data Architect - Hadoop

Data Architect - An international business is looking for Data Architects to join their team on a contract basis.

Working with the Enterprise Architect Team, you will be instrumental in defining the solution for a Hadoop based data platform, defining Data standards, policies and procedures and design data principles, and guiding the technical team and conducting workships with the business and IT.

The successful Data Architect will need to have good experience with Hadoop Technologies, specifically Sqoop, Apache Spark, Hive, HBase and Apache Kafka.

You will have a good understanding of ETL and related concepts, as well as familiarity with ETL and BI tools. You will have a strong understanding of Data Migration Approach and patterns, Datamodelling (£ NF, Dimensional models) and good experience in SQL. Scripting experience (Java, C++, Bash, Python, etc.) is highly advantageous.
