Robson Bale are looking for a French Speaking Program Manager for an initial 6 month contract in Belgium

Scope of the mission

Head of IT track within the Smart Metering program

1) IT monitoring of the SMART Program in collaboration with the Business program manager: Replacement of current meters by smart meters, implementation of an application chain to support the management of new processes related to replacement, interfacing with the connection environment SMART (HES), integration with the new prepayment platform (PPP)

2) End-to-end management of the Customer Portal' track: creation of a Big Data platform for the collection of data and their availability to the end customer

The scope of the assignment may change depending on internal needs and constraints/opportunities related to changes in the energy market.

Responsibilities

The resource will be responsible for the various projects falling within the scope of the mission: the role and involvement will vary depending on the project and may range from simple monitoring of a project managed by an external service provider to the complete management of the project. Prerequisite

The following knowledge is considered necessary for the success of the mission of the desired Program Manager:

• Proven competence as a Program Manager
• Knowledge of architectural best practices (service oriented architecture, data architecture)
• IT background with an interest in business processes
• Have a verbal and written command of French; having a good understanding of the other national language (Dutch) as well as English is a plus
• Have the ability to formalize in French (English is a plus)
• Being a born communicator is required
• Being results oriented is required

Experience

• Knowledge of the business of managing gas and electricity distribution networks (GRD) is compulsory (min. 2 years in the Utilities sector)
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a project manager
• Experience with testing tools (HP QC, TestProjet, etc.) is a plus
• Ideally, have experience or knowledge in public procurement
